How to Make an Ebook CoverPlease note: I will be using Photoshop to design my eBook cover, however, if you want to use a free version similar to Photoshop you may do so by using Gimp.

Gimp is a free image editing software that will work well for you in regards to this tutorial. I won’t go over how to use Gimp as I don’t use it myself, but I’m sure you’ll find some basic Gimp video tutorials on YouTube that will help you with this eBook cover tutorial. Thanks!

Learning how to make an eBook cover doesn’t have to be hard. In fact, it should be simple and anyone should be able to do it – including you! In this tutorial I’m going to show you how you can make your own eBook cover in less than 10 minutes. Best of all, I’ll show you how to make your eBook cover for free!

Why Create Your Own Ebook Cover?

When you first got started online, one of the first questions you had was “how can I make money online?” From there you discovered that you could build a website, drive traffic to it and make money by selling your own products, services or by putting up some advertisements.

From that point you decided to write your own eBook. You learned how to write your eBook and you were proud of your work, the only thing left to do was create the eBook cover…and then you got stuck.

This is why learning how to make an eBook cover is a must have skill. After writing your eBook, you want to put it up for sale and start making money online right away and feel proud that you have an internet business up and running. Delaying your results is a pain in the butt and I’m here to help you get past this tiny little obstacle.

Things You’ll Need to Make Your Ebook Cover

Bonus: Free Ebook Templates

If you need some inspiration or are just too lain lazy to create your own eBook covers from scratch, I’ve created 3 free eBook templates that you can edit and use with 3D-pack. Click here to download (or right click, save as) your free templates!

Outsourcing the Work

From time to time we all get a bit lazy and impatient. We would rather have someone else do the work so that we can carry on doing the things that are more important to us in that given moment. If this sounds like you and you’d like to outsource the work instead of creating it on your own, I recommend heading over to Fiverr and searching for someone to design your eBook cover for $5.

Note: you’ll have to wait a day or so for the seller to deliver on your purchase and you might not get what you expect. That’s why I highly recommend taking the time to improve your Photoshop skills so you can design your own eBook covers. This way you can design it exactly how you want and can be pleased with the results.

Cheers!
